The hotel has a lovely atmosphere with great environmental surroundings and spa facilities, which I usually look forward to. However, this time my experience was not as great as I hoped, especially with the spa and leisure offerings, which were severely restricted. The staff have typically been attentive and helpful, yet some training seems needed to ensure smooth service. Overall, I enjoyed my stay but faced several inconveniences that detracted from the experience.

Dining

Dining was a mixed bag; while breakfast was nice, other meals fell short of expectations and didn't justify the pricing.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The initial check-in process was chaotic, and I had to run back and forth to the reception to sort out my treatment bookings, which was frustrating. However, once I settled in, the spa treatments were excellent, and I enjoyed the quality of the food at each meal. The rooms were tidy and had everything I needed, though I felt they were a bit pricey for what was offered.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel, especially enjoying the spacious junior suite and the quality of the food included in our package. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making it a truly relaxing getaway. However, I encountered some issues with the dining service during my second visit that took away from the experience, although the management handled it well. Overall, it's a good choice for a restful retreat.

6.6/10

I had mixed feelings about my stay. The location by the golf course was lovely, and my spa treatments were fantastic, but the dining experience left much to be desired with poor food quality. It's a shame because I had high expectations, especially given the prices. While I appreciated the clean room facilities, I certainly felt the lack of air conditioning made things somewhat uncomfortable.

Rooms
7.0
The room was clean and looked quite fresh, but lacked air conditioning, making it stuffy at times. It overlooked the car park which wasn't inspiring, yet offered a stunning view of the lake that we missed enjoying in the evening.
Service
5.0
The service could use some improvement. I found the staff a bit clueless about certain requests, and the lack of ice buckets where an ice machine was available was inconvenient. Room service also seemed a bit lethargic.
Location
8.0
Being tucked away next to the golf resort provided a peaceful atmosphere, but it was smaller than I anticipated based on the photos.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience was rather disappointing, with the food lacking flavor and the breakfast setup feeling disorganized.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities were decent but not outstanding. I appreciated the cleanliness throughout the area, but the limited pool hours without notice were frustrating.

My stay at Wyboston Lakes was enjoyable overall, with clean and comfortable rooms and excellent food. However, the service left much to be desired, which was disappointing given my previous experience. While it's a great option for relaxation and leisure activities, the minor issues with service somewhat overshadowed the positives.

Rooms
8.0
The rooms were clean and comfortable but a bit small for my liking. I appreciated the air conditioning and the smart TV, though.
Service
6.0
The service was polite, but I encountered several issues that disrupted my experience. There was noticeable inconsistency, particularly with the dining service.
Location

The hotel's location was acceptable, close to interesting sights and with nice views. It would have been better if the pool was actually in the hotel.
Dining

The dining experience was generally good, with plenty of food options, but the service was lacking during key moments.
Facilities

The facilities were decent, with access to a swimming pool and spa, though I found the distance to the pool inconvenient.
